Personal Information

How does GO-ID collect personal information
GO-ID collects personal information directly from you and from third parties. During the registration process, we will ask for Personal Information (including Sensitive Personal Information).

GO-ID makes it easier to be you online by safeguarding your personal information and putting you in charge of what you want to share when you transact with Folio enabled websites.

GO-ID is required to manage the security and confidentiality of the data, to protect it from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, or alteration, and to retain and destroy the data in accordance with applicable law.

We may, from time to time, receive Personal Information from third party data providers in order to enhance our product and help us better understand the needs of our customers.

Sharing of Personal Information

Biometric Information:
Go-ID uses Biometric Information solely to: (i) verify your identity for the purpose of confirming your identity; (ii) protect the integrity of the GO-ID platform and functionality by detecting fraud and misrepresentation by unauthorized persons; and (iii) as required by law, if applicable. As a matter of policy, GO-ID will not disclose your biometric data to a third party, unless with your explicit consent.

Security and Data Retention
Folio shall at all times protect your Personal Information with operational, administrative, technical and physical security safeguards.

Go-ID shall not store Biometric Data longer from your last interaction with the GO-ID platform or the maximum amount of time given by law, whichever is shortest.

How GO-ID uses your Personal Information
GO-ID uses your Personal Information to enable your registration and to undertake identity verification checks. GO-ID will also use aggregated and anonymized or pseudoanonymized data for the purpose of data analytics.

Access, Correction and Destruction of Personal Information
GO-ID respects your rights to access, correct and destroy your Personal Information. You may request access to and correction of your Personal Information stored by GO-ID. You may also, at any time, log into your GO-ID account to access and update the information you have provided to us.

request access to and correction of your Personal Information;
make any inquiries, requests or complaints in relation to the use of your Personal Information; or

Information Security
GO-ID has implemented an information security program that contains administrative, technical and physical controls that are designed to safeguard your Personal Information. For example, we use industry-standard encryption technology to secure Sensitive Information when it is being collected and transmitted over the Internet as well as firewalls, site monitoring and intrusion detection software.

Changes to this Privacy Policy
From time to time, we may update this Privacy Policy and reserve the right to do so. Updates may be made to reflect changes in applicable privacy law or best practices as set forth by the IAPP (International Association of Privacy Professionals).
